Fledgling is a unique 2d pixel art adventure with deck building combat influenced by your narrative choices. You alone can change the ending. Will you?

As my 3rd year university project, Fledgling is the largest team project I've ever worked on. As the Producer/Director I am in charge of managing deadlines, game builds, workloads, design and development elements of this game. Our team is pretty large (roughly 15 people), but is constructed of a lot of contractor or part-time workers. We use Codecks as our project management software; while it is not the most industry standard program, it is very functional and has an interface that made our team way more willing to actually engage with it. While Codecks doesn't advertise a student plan on their site; I emailed them and asked if we could do some kind of deal as a group of students and they forwarded the sign-up for it!

On top of that, I'm also very involved with the Programming team. I have designed and programmed some of our essential systems like combat, saving, and level streaming. Unreal engine is not the best way to create a 2D project for sure, but this extra challenge has taught me a lot about the engine and how to push it's functions to the limit.
