City of Storms was my second solo project in Unreal Engine, developed during my second year at University.

CoS is a Parkour game where the player must quickly move around the city collecting purple 'powercells' to charge up their lightning attacks. I only developed three levels and a basic storyline, spending most of my time on the parkour mechanics and movement. I was very proud of it at the time, but looking back now there's much I would add/change!

Some of the parkour mechanics I programmed were:
- sliding
- a short dash
- multi-jumps
- mantling
- assisted with a Grapple hook

Originally City of Storms was actually called Parkour Arena. It was going to be a PVP Parkour game where players piloted 'ParkourBots' and fought to be Champions in the arena. Unfortunately multiplayer games were out of scope for the class I was in and my experience in Unreal Engine, so I kept the Parkour mechanics and transferred them into City of Storms.
